À l’époque des Incas, tout était connecté et en communication avec le Machu Picchu à travers un réseau complexe de sentiers.
Choquequirao est considéré comme “Le dernier refuge de l’Empire Inca”. Les visiteurs auront l’occasion de découvrir un système hydraulique complexe, vraisemblablement à usage domestique, cérémoniel et agricole.
